We know how to make the most of renewable and recycled printing materials and incorporate this into our methodology. Environment
It is increasingly important that all industries, including printing, minimise their impact on the environment. MCR love the challenge of finding environmentally friendly options. Every time we are asked to print something for our clients, we think to ourselves:
“Could we print this in a more environmentally friendly way?” …. if we think we can, we will let you know.
Sustainable Sourcing
All of our paper stocks are Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) accredited as standard. We are certified under the FSC’s chain of custody certificate. This means that we can apply the FSC logo to your print so that your customers will know your materials are helping to eliminate and not contribute, to the destruction of the world’s forests.
In the factory
Waste paper, out of date stock and off cuts are recycled locally. The resulting material makes up part of the pre consumer waste in our recycled stock. We also run a recyclable plate making system; after use, all plates are reprocessed ready to be used again.
In the office
We use refilled toner cartridges in our digital proofing machine and desktop printers so we can return used cartridges for refilling. General paper and plastic waste is recycled weekly.
