Carbon Audit
In 2011 we decided to take a closer look at our business’ impact on the environment. To do this, we commissioned a study with Life Size Media to review the carbon footprint of our office in Brighton between June 2010 and May 2011. The study took into consideration our emissions from utilities, related travel and the purchases and waste from our operations.
The Results
After careful analysis, it was calculated that our 2010/11 office operations produced only 10.0 tonnes of equivalent carbon dioxide (CO2e).

| Carbon audit breakdown | Average CO2e per employee – industry comparison |
Our employees, who have an average impact of 2.0 tonnes CO2e, have done a lot to help us keep the total low. As a company we heavily encourage use of public transport, walking and car sharing, which makes a great contribution to reducing our impact. Read our Carbon Audit 2010/11 for the full report.

Carbon Neutral
Although our footprint is low we wanted to offset our impact to make our offices carbon neutral. We decided to support the prize winning Kikonda reforestation project in Uganda, which encourages local people to protect and expand forests in the area. Click here for more information.
